The Ottawa South riding is a federal electoral district within the City of Ottawa in the eastern region of the province of Ontario. The riding is bound by the Rideau River to the west and north and Highway 417 to the south and north. The riding extends as far as Leitrim Road to the south.

Communities located within the bounds of Ottawa South include Alta Vista, Billings Bridge, Mooney’s Bay, South Keys, Airport-Uplands, Blossom Park, Heron Gate, Heron Park, and Elmvale Acres.
Ottawa South is a strong, diverse community with many residential neighourhoods, industrial strongholds, and thriving commerce. From the scenic shores of the Rideau River to the beautiful walking trails of Conroy Pit to the pristine greens of Hunt Club Golf & Country Club, there is something for everyone in the area.
The Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) and both the General and Riverside campuses of the Ottawa General Hospital are located in the north end of the riding and serve as major employers in the region. Macdonald-Cartier Airport is located in the south end of the riding, while the Ottawa Train Station is found in the north end of the riding. Both serve as major transit gateways and are key points of access to the riding, in addition to serving as major employers for residents.
